LoadYard — user experience

Binding law: `../../JAMAICA_TRUST.md`

First 60 seconds (no account)

1. Land on the browse screen. See CleanLift canter · Sat without a wall. 2. Filter by parish / today / verified. 3. Open one card. Read the named party and the price or quote rule. 4. Only then: “Message” or “Request” → phone OTP.

Unique interface

An inDrive-style bid strip on one cargo board — not four apps

Phone mock: Haulage board. Rows are real Jamaican objects, not research charts.

Journeys

  • Post the load or pick Gas/Water/Hardware/Move.
  • See bids. Pay the truck or dealer. Same prepaid rails as YardTrade.

Seeker pays the truck, yard, or dealer that bid with cash, Lynk, or card — never us.

Provider journey

1. Self-serve: phone OTP, National ID or licence photo, parish, rates. 2. Top up a lead balance (Lynk to our company) or start a Pro month. 3. Accept a lead → fee leaves the balance automatically. 4. Do the work. Collect from the household yourself. 5. Ask for the rating.

WhatsApp export

One tap: image or PDF with names, parish, quoted figure, and the 876 desk. That is the paper people already screenshot.

Accessibility

  • 48px targets. 16px+ type. High contrast cream/ink.
  • Voice notes have a text field fallback.
  • Screen-reader labels on every row.
  • Works on mid Android + Safari Add to Home Screen.

Empty / loading / error

  • Empty parish: “Nobody listed this week. Share the link in your group, or WhatsApp the desk.”
  • Loading: named skeleton rows, not a blank map.
  • Error: last cached list + “WhatsApp +1 876 555 0190”.

What the phone must never show

STATIN, CPI, “beat inflation,” “we hold your deposit,” hospital/JPS passwords.

Never

  • A gas-only or water-only app
  • Hold a cylinder or skip deposit
  • A mixed hardware inbox for one elbow
